Rest Thank You Father I can rest, I do rest (trust) in Your amazing Finished Works! LORD, in Psalms 23:2 David says, “He makes me to lie down in green pastures”— David says — “My Shepherd makes me lie down in His Finished Work?” Father God, I can see with Jesus’ own pierced Hands, He made me a pasture for my soul (mind, body, emotions) to rest. Yes LORD, I see the sweet heart satisfaction of the sheep’s shepherd when his work is completed — as he watches over, protecting his precious sheep resting in the tender grass! Almighty Father God, as Your precious Holy One, I see Your joyous satisfaction in Your tender heart as I rest every day in Your Sons Finished Work! LORD, Your Pasture of rest is Your powerful Blessing Gift to me. Father, I know Your Pasture of rest is never a pasture I could make! I know I could never work hard enough, long enough to acquire or earn Your amazing place of rest. Yes LORD, thank You for showing me, giving me Your sweet Pasture of rest as Your mighty Gift to me. Yes God … thank You! Ephesians 2:8 clearly says — “For it is by grace I have been saved, through faith, and this not from myself, it is the Gift of God.” Thank You Father for your Wild Love-Faith that gives me rest far beyond my dreams! Yes Jesus, You are my protecting, providing Shepherd inviting me to forever stay nestled — deeply hidden — securely resting in the tall shoots of Your Wild Love-Grace!
