God gives, divides to every one severally (in particular) as He will!  1 Corinthians 12 is talking about and lists the Gifts of the Spirit.  Yes, every amazing Gift comes from God — belongs to you — the Church!  Every Gift is manifested through you — through others as the Spirit will, never as man wills.

I have had certain Gifts manifest through me at times!  At other times, years ago — I would foolishly try to manifest these Gifts of the Spirit myself, on my own. I would say everything I had said before — push every button, pull every stop — nothing would happen.  Why?

Beloved — the Spirit and the anointing were not present to manifest these Gifts. 1 Corinthians 12:8 says — “For to one is given by the Spirit … as He will”  No man, woman or child controls the manifestation of the Gifts of the Spirit!

The manifestation is given as the Spirit will. I have been in huge anointed, powerful meetings where people ministered with the Gift of the Word of Knowledge or the Gifts of Healing.

The Minister would only call out three or four people! The Minister must never go beyond what the LORD says to do as the LORD is doing. When I ministered healing to a certain business man in Southern Oklahoma — the LORD Himself initiated His Healing to this man.

You might be thinking — “Well ROSE — why didn’t the LORD initiate ministering something else to others by a Gift of the Spirit that day?  Beloved — I have no answer to you other than — God chooses what, who, when, and where He does certain things!

I know this — I stay open, receptive to the LORD — being willing, being at best to listen hearing Him. I love when the manifestations of the Gifts of the Spirit operate through me — or through you.

If God left the manifestation of Himself up to you or me — we would be like little children with wild donkeys!  We would manifest His Gifts more frequently running up and down, all around showing off.

This may be one good reason God never leaves His manifestations up to us! — Manifestations, His Gifts — are as He Divinely Will — never as we will.  My part, your part is to tell people something of what God’s Love, His Word says.

You or I can initiate God’s Healing by their faith — because His Healing belongs to them. Gifts of the Spirit — Anointing by the Spirit is different!  Yes!  God’s Gifts of His Spirit are given as God Divinely severally (in particular) as He Will.
