Today’s Scripture

“It is an honor for a man to cease from strife
and keep aloof from it, but every fool will quarrel”

(Proverbs 20:3)

Who Rules You?

Dear One,

The Bible says God gave you a will — authority to rule, have dominion over (Genesis 1)!  He rules you with your agreement!  Jesus is your covering (atonement) for sin.  How precious Jesus is to Father God … is how precious you are to Father God!  God loves you as much as He loves His Own Son!  When the Father sees you — He sees Jesus — your covering (atonement).

When you agree for someone’s actions, ways, words to upset you, you are agreeing them to rule you?  As you say — “You really hurt me, made me mad” — you confirm their words, their actions to take power over you.  As that person knows you agree for them to push your buttons — as you keep responding the same angry way — they will keep pushing and pushing.

Certainly, people say and do upsetting things!  But you have the right to keep aloof, not be offended.  You have the right to ignore, overlook their actions.  It is an honor for you to cease from, keep “aloof” from strife.

Beloved, today, stay removed every day — physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually — from strife, offense, quarrels. And should offense creep toward you — pour it off like water pouring over Niagra Falls!  Jesus has you covered.  When Jairus’ was told with Jesus standing nearby — “Don’t bother the Teacher any more, your daughter is dead.”

Scripture says Jesus overhearing them, but ignoring them said — “Jairus, fear not.  Only keep on believing your daughter is not dead!”  Jairus could chose fear, doubt — or believe!  Never before Father God proclaim fears, failures, shortcomings.  Jesus proclaims to you what is right with you, never what is wrong with you! Proclaim Jesus covered you in His Wild Love-Perfection.

Today, keep hearing Him telling you — “Go, go, go!  I have you covered. There is nothing for you to strive or fear over!”  Keep hearing Him saying — “Go for it, go, go, go!  I am covering you. There is nothing for you to fear!”

Remember, everyone doesn’t and won’t agree with you all the time.  God’s approval of you never depends on the approval of others.  Your job — trust God to do His job!  Keep being the person God already made you to be. Overlook, ignore offenses!  Keep strife gone!  Live in Jesus Wild Love-Grace-Peace — His victory for you — all the days of your life!  Who rules you? — Say with me — “Yes, I choose my LORD God Almighty rules me and there is no other!”
