What hurts your feelings, mind?  Do you want healing?  Yes!  God’s Israelite children were bitten by serpents in the desert!  God said “Moses, make a bronze serpent and put it on a pole!”  A picture of Christ being judged on the Cross (John 3:14). Those looking at the bronze serpent instead of their wounds were healed (Numbers 21:9).

Look to Jesus instead of hurts!  Live healed!  I once said, “I hurt so bad, my hair hurts?” Funny?  Sad!  Does your hair hurt?  Hurts are planned to hurt!  A teacher, boss, ignores your work — friend drops you — husband, wife abandons, betrays — company fires you, won’t hire you!  Rejections, neglect!  Big planned hurts!

Who plans hurts?  Satan!  Who has “Hurt Parties”?  Satan!  Who brings pain?  Satan!  People?  With Satan help!   Yes, Satan uses people deliberately!  Sometimes ignorantly!  So what do you do?  Yes, look to Jesus instead of your wounds!  Or, go to the “Pity Party”?  The “Drink Drunk Party”?  The “Get You Back Party”?  The “Suffering Party?”

Jesus has a wild idea!  Sit back down!  Stay seated with Him in God’s Throne Room at His “Love-Grace-Forgiveness-Joy Party”!  Keep partying with Him, looking at Him!  Did God see that “Hurt Party” invitation coming?  Yes!  What’s He going to do about it?  Remind you!  He already did something, everything!

You already answered His “Love-Grace-Forgiveness-Salvation–Joy Party” invitation!  He sat you right down with Jesus at His right Hand!  When did you decide to get up, leave God’s “Victory Party” to go to the “Hurt Party” — “Fear Party”?  God says — “Beloved, sit back down!”

Is Love-Grace lacking?  Grace abounds!  Is Forgiveness easy, abounding?  Yes!  Jesus Forgiveness flows.  Forgiveness happened!  Just say so!  “See to it that no one misses the Grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many” (Hebrews 12:15)!  Jesus is Forgiveness!  Say so!  Not complicated!  Look only at Jesus — stay healed!  God smiles!  What hurts?
