Today’s Scripture And He [Jesus] said to her, ‘Daughter, be of good comfort:
your faith has made you whole; go in peace” (Luke 8:48) Your Faith Makes You Whole! Dear One, Many years ago, a secular magazine wrote a report on healing methods by a group of doctors from a large U.S. College. This College was working under grant monies of several thousand dollars from the U.S. Government studying alternative healing methods.
In this article doctors said — “We have examined many old American Indian remedies. We found remedies we thought would not work, but did work. After putting these remedies through strict laboratory testing — we determined why they worked. We even tried old mountain wives’ remedies. No healing remedy was turned down. We are researching in the healing business.”
They continued — “Also, we found that Divine Healing works. There are many records of people diagnosed to die in their final stage of cancer — dying. But after a man or woman of God came in — anointed them with oil — laid hands on their bodies — these people got up leaving the hospital completely well — often within four, sometimes two days.
We know for a fact — Divine Healing works! Upon examinations, not a trace of disease in their bodies could be found! Even though — putting these examinations through laboratory tests like we do other remedies isn’t possible.”
The doctors reports continued — “If we knew how Divine Healing works — we could, we would share this healing method with people.”
When I read this report — I rejoiced! — My LORD God — I believe I may need to write these doctors to tell them how Divine Healing works. I know how Divine Healing works — and you know how Divine Healing works! Jesus clearly said — “Divine Healing works by faith.” Always remember in Luke 8:48 — Jesus said to the woman sick for 12 years with the issue of blood as she touched the hem of His garment — “Daughter, Your faith (in God) has made you whole (healed, well, lacking nothing) — go in peace.”
