I can sense someone in their head thinking, reading — “ROSE, are you saying it is possible to go to heaven without doing any good works?”  Beloved, good works by God through you in Jesus are a requirement. Your good works and plans without Jesus are nothing to God!

Someone else is thinking, reading — “Surely ROSE you aren’t saying I can go to heaven with a no good character?  What about killing, raping, molesting, lying, stealing, living as a mean, no good hateful, sinner?”  Beloved God’s good character through you in Jesus is required.  Entering heaven requires God’s good works — God’s good character through you in Jesus!

Without God — you have no good works — no good character!  With Him, through Him, by Him, in Him, from Him, of Him — you have all.

I am certain you have done some really nice, great things in your life.  Still — without Jesus — you could never live long enough — work hard enough to have enough good works or character to go to heaven — regardless of your works or sacrifice.  No matter how noble your gifts — without God through you in Jesus — nothing is good enough to get you into heaven.  Alone — you could never live long enough — work hard enough — to have enough character to go to heaven.

Please refrain from being offended. (Then again — go ahead, be offended, if you want)!   I am certain you are most likely a very decent, lovely person.  Still, decency, loveliness isn’t enough. Those who see God are not the decent, the lovely — they are the Holy.  Scripture says — “Anyone whose life is not holy will never SEE the LORD” (Hebrews 12:14)

How do you be holy?  How do you see the LORD?  Yes!  Through Jesus in you!  You may be decent. You may be poor or wealthy — pay taxes — kiss your wife, husband, kids — sleep well with a clean conscience.  Still — Beloved — apart from Jesus Christ you are never holy.  With Jesus — you are His holy!  Again — how can you go to heaven?

BELIEVE JESUS — Believe Jesus — believe Jesus is in you — doing His works through you — building your spirit-you, developing your spirit-you — in Him — in His character — in His holiness — through you!

Beloved — receive The Work already done by JESUS!  Receive The Work of Jesus on The Cross for you.

BELIEVE JESUS — Believe the Goodness of Jesus Christ.  Throw out all your own works!  Receive His Good Works. Throw out your own decency!  Receive His Decency.  Beloved, throw out your own love, kindness!  Receive His Love, Kindness!

Stand — stay seated beside God, next to Jesus — in Jesus’ Name — not your names, titles of  — doctor, professor, pastor, minister, evangelist, prophet, Mrs, Mr, Miss, elder, deacon, pope, father … mother of…, son of … wife or husband of … daughter of … chief, boss, director, manager, officer, owner, award winning artist, king, prince, queen, sheik, president, founder, CEO — developer — on and on!

Yes, all amazing titles, names, descriptions!  Still — THE NAME — JESUS is above all names!  God clearly says — “Every knee, every name, every tongue bows to THE NAME above all names — JESUS!”  Beloved — “Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved, but anyone who does not believe will be punished” (Mark 16:16).  BELIEVE — CALL JESUS — GRACE!
