Today’s Scripture “The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall not want”
(Psalms 23) Wanting Dear One,
Have you heard? “… you shall not want!” — Yes, when the devil throws lemons at you, God Almighty Himself makes you lemon cake, lemon tea, lemonade, lemon meringue pie — just for you! Scripture says — “God works all things together for your good” (Romans 8:28). This means God is working all His Word at all times — all on your behalf! God works His Word with Wild Love pizzazz! Beloved, if through divorce you have a lost husband or wife — or a precious child — God restores back to you unlimited more in quantity and in quality than before! He restores unlimited for troubles! Walk with me into prison cells of the world’s most depressive, oppressive prison. The prison property name? “STRIVE TRAINING CENTER”. That name repeats itself again and again in the prison! “WANTING!” When you enter the prison cell of striving, “Wanting”, you see everybody who strived for something! They strived wanting something bigger. Better, nicer. Newer, faster. More closet space! Someone strived, wanted heavier, thinner — taller — younger. They all want freedom! Someone strived, wanted more money! I remember saying to the LORD many years ago — “LORD, I need more money. I know You see these debts, bills, repairs needed?” The LORD said — “ROSE, you don’t need more money! You need more of Me!” — Some want more love — more peace! Maybe they want a whole new life! Everyone in the Striving “Wanting” prison wanted just one thing, one more time! One new, better job. One new, fancier car. One new, better spouse. They wanted just one more drink. Just one last more moment! And they knew for sure they would be happy when they got just “one”. Then it happens. The new fancier car smell ends. The new job dims quick. The new spouse has stinky habits. That last one drink, one moment ended it all! Hating just one more time didn’t feel so good later! I have to ask? Are you on death row in the Striving “Wanting” prison? Do you feel best as you have more? Worse as you have less? Here comes the Greatest News! A Special Visitor has arrived with a profound message — “You are paroled, set free.” The Visitor speaks softly — “I have a winning tip to tell you!” “The tip — rest satisfied, thankful — complete.” Yes! “The LORD is your Shepherd, you shall not want!” Suddenly all striving evaporates — All you have, all you need, is with your Powerful Father God! He has fulfilled all desires He put in your heart! — Yes Beloved, your Father God is your Wild Love-Grace-Joy-Forgiveness — Peace — Freedom! He is far far Wilder than any wild striving prison time you could do in life! God, as your richest Provider set you free forever! He Divinely planned you never strive — never want — for anything! In Jesus’ Name,
