Today’s Scripture “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the LORD, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole Armor of God, that YOU may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil”
(Ephesians 6:10-11)
Strong In the Lord
In Power Of His Might Dear One, Some people read Ephesians 6:10 thinking the LORD tells them to be strong within themselves. Yes, they try to be strong. They say — “Oh ROSE, pray for me I can hold out strong, faithful through this struggle to the end! I am doing everything I know to stand strong!” Beloved — God never said a thing about you being strong in yourself — or being strong in the power of your might. That County Sheriff steps right out in front of that moving truck — holds up his hand because he knows that truck is going to stop for his authority he has been given. That Sheriff’s energy, his strength never has anything to do with energy or strength in himself. He is strong in the authority that was given to him by the officials over him. That is what the LORD is saying — “Be strong in the LORD. Be strong in the authority of His might.” Go ahead — just stand there right in front of the oncoming devil or his demon buddies. Hold up your mighty hand of God in the Name of Jesus saying — “Thank You LORD — no further — Your Authority — Your power — Your might proves You as You stop them right now.” (Malachi 3) Yes — your Armor of God stays on you for praising Him — never fighting! You are strong in the LORD — strong in the power of His Might! In Jesus’ Name,
