Today’s Scripture “Jesus asked, ‘Can all your worries add Worry Subtracts…Divides
Dear One, I must ask — “What would wives, husbands, teachers, moms, dads, employees, bosses — anybody do without worry? Worry almost sounds like a job description. “WORRIERS WANTED — Must be able to perform sleepless nights — useless pacing — wring their hands — bite their nails — go long hours without rest — work till exhaustion — never sit still — talk loud — stay stressed — be at least 50-100 pounds overweight — have two or more high blood pressure checks each month — be thoroughly convinced of no charge or total charge of life — carry the title of “Fixer” — talk to God often about why He isn’t doing something. Be able to complain, blame, criticize” “Pay — low. Long-term benefits — none. Great Lifetime position.” Matthew 6:27 says — Jesus asked — “Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?” Worry has side effects — but no positive side effects. In fact, worry subtracts, divides moments, days, years from your life in heart stress — rising blood pressure. Worry is not just opposite to trust! Worry is anti-trust. If you are a “Worrier”, worrying — you have anti-trust issues! You aren’t just not trusting something or trusting someone! You are anti-trusting, mis-trusting — your kids, their friends, strangers, the church, your Pastor, your boss, your husband, your wife — the check out clerk —— other family members! You anti-trust — yourself — even God. Let me ask — “Can Big God take care of you — your children?” Yes! Absolutely! Done! Jesus says — “I tell you, stop being anxious and worried about your life.” Blunt said! Very blunt said. Jesus said — “I tell you — stop!” Easy said! To do — you think not so easy, huh? How long have you been a “Worrier?” Worry confronts trust! Worry confronts God! Worry confronts Love, Peace! Worry holds you captive — a prisoner! Worry — confronts you! I know you are ready to turn over your sons, daughters, your children — your life — to God? Agree for Him to baby-sit you — baby-sit your babies — baby-sit your life because Beloved, you are not around! Then one day suddenly when you’re not around — you will see — God’s pretty darn great at His job! Worry splits you in half — into quarters — into pieces! Worry subtracts, divides! In Jesus’ Name,
