Dear One,

Abel and Cain!  What different opposite memories Abel and Can left of their lives.  Cain thought his way, his kind of offering was good enough!  Cain selfishly kept the best of his crops for himself.  He selfishly kept for himself the best, giving to God his least saying — “This is good enough.”

Cain was like a selfish, jealous person who reaches into their pocket for a little loose change or a dollar to toss into the passing offering basket! Cain was like the lazy sluggard boy in school who resented the one who prepared for the test spoiling the curve — Cain became “very angry.”  Cain’s anger raged!

Abel always brought his firstborn, most prized, perfect of all his animals to God.  Abel did best. The “Teacher”— the LORD Himself honored Abel, with His Favor for Abel’s prized, unselfish, generous offering!

God looked in disfavor on Cain’s offering. Jealous, angry Cain schemed against Abel, his faithful, obedient younger brother saying —“Let’s go out to the field.” There, Cain killed Abel — then lied to God.

Moments after — Cain heard God pronounce a lifelong death sentence on his now cursed crops, his cursed life.  Still, God promised Cain His protection. For the remainder of Cain’s life, Cain thought, Cain remembered — “God should have killed me after what I did to Abel?” Instead, Cain lived a lifelong, living death sentence — life with memories of his outrageous sin, reminded every day of his cursed crops!

Cain lived suffering. He lived in a cursed memory of his anger sin!  Cain struggled, suffered in his memories.  Cain also lived in his memory of Almighty God’s glorious Love — His abundance — His Grace, His Mercy! All of this was long before the forever Healing Mercy of Jesus came!

BLESS GOD  — “At that time people first began to worship the LORD by Name” (Genesis 4:26)

CONFESS RELEASE — Nothing escapes God — He knows the exact state of every heart of all mankind.  Release today all memories of anger, un-forgiveness, doubts that make you vulnerable to suffer

EXPECT GOD  —  He never leaves you in the dark — He speaks clearly to you about how He expects you to easily receive Jesus — receive His Love, His Big Forgiveness — His easy Goodness

RECEIVE (take)  — God knows your heart He gave you — He knows Jesus freed you forever from all root causes of anger, selfishness, jealousy.  Now you can easily know, joyfully, generously sow your loving heart to God — you can know you have His Heart He forever gave you in Jesus to give and to reap
