two blind men followed Him, crying, and saying,
‘Son of David, have mercy on us’”

(Matthew 9:27)

Crying Praying

Dear One,

How long have you cried, prayed — yelled at God like He’s deaf, telling Him how to help you?  “And when Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying, and saying — ‘Son of David, have mercy on us’” (Matthew 9:27).

Jesus had just raised Jairus’ little daughter up from the dead, healing her.  Two blind men followed Jesus from Jairus’ house, crying saying — “Son of David, have mercy on us.”  Even though these two men “cried prayed”, they were still furiously rowing the same ole boat they started out in before crying, praying.  They were still blind.

One theology account I studied stated these two blind men were still blind after crying praying because they addressed Jesus as the Son of David.  Beloved, Matthew wrote his entire Gospel to prove that Jesus was the Son of David!  Beloved, Jesus was the Son of David — the blind men were addressing Him correctly.

By calling Jesus the Son of David, they were acknowledging that He was the One Who was to come. They  acknowledged He was the Messiah.  Even though the two blind men were correct in calling Him the Son of David  — even though they were praying — in their were crying — they never heard an answer.

This confirms — Prayer alone never saves you. Prayer alone never heals you.  Prayer alone never saves your spirit or heals your body.  These two men had followed Jesus from Jairus’ house crying, praying.  Still, their prayers alone brought no response.  Beloved, “crying praying” from your mouth goes no further than your nose!

Crying praying instead of “PRAISE Prayers” brings you more crying!  God never responds to crying, wailing, yelling at Him like He is deaf.  Telling Father God what to do, like He doesn’t know, never brings Him to respond.  In fact,  He is looking, expecting you to stop wearing yourself out with all that crying praying!  Yelling, telling Him what to do praying, kicking Him in the chins like a fearful child.== never brings answers.

God said — “Weary yourself — but don’t weary Me”  (Isaiah 7:13; 28:12; 40:28, 31; 50:4;  Matthew 11:28).  Jesus is increasing — increase in Praise Praying with Jesus!  Crying Praying is not for you!  Done!  Increase in Jesus — He is increasing!
